Other hand tarot

Like poetry, tarot is an interpretive exploration and a form of self expression. Tarot is never a substitute for critical thinking, common sense, science, or therapy. These areas of enquiry have enriched our tarot literacy over the past 25 years.

Pam in Ottawa

Pam Stewart: A mixed media painter with a home studio in Kanata, Pam creates dramatic and energetic works with modern materials such as art resin, synthetic paper, alcohol inks, textured acrylic and other 3-dimensional media. Her work is always an authentic expression of how she experiences the world around her – bathed in an immersion of the senses.

"My soul - and my work - seeks the cleansing and grounding effects of water; always. While all of my work will have an organic flow and use liquid materials for these effects, several of my recent works also explore subversive themes related to gender, diversity, inclusion and belonging."

A mom of teenage twins, a former indie filmmaker and magazine editor, and former owner of Carleton Place Gallery, when not in the studio or teaching a workshop, Pam is likely either ice swimming or going for a long-distance open water swim. Just depends what season it is!

Guitar Lessons with Trevor Lubin

Trevor Lubin is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, ukulele and dobro), music educator, and recording artist based in Ottawa. With over twenty years of experience performing on guitar and other instruments—including international touring and collaborations with a wide range of artists—he brings a wealth of real-world musicianship into the classroom. For the past fifteen years, Trevor has taught students of all ages and skill levels, sharing both the technical skills and the creative insights gained from life as a professional musician.

In his teaching, Trevor’s goal is to help students discover and develop their own musical voice. He encourages curiosity, experimentation, and free inquiry, giving students an active role in shaping their musical journey. Drawing on a versatile background that spans blues, roots, rock and roll, jazz, bluegrass, country, folk, and heavy metal, he supports learners in exploring the styles and directions that inspire them most.

Ultimately, Trevor believes music is rewarding in itself. His aim is to guide students toward becoming independent, confident musicians who can think creatively and solve challenges on their own—skills that will serve them both inside and outside the classroom.
